How to check an email is really from us

Every legitimate message we send carries a verification code near the footer. You can confirm any message in seconds:

1. Open the email and find the line that begins with "Verification code".
2. Come to this help center and open Verify a message.
3. Paste the code and select Check this code.

If the message is genuine, you'll see a green Genuine result with the sending domain and the date we sent it. If you see We can't confirm this, treat the message with caution and contact support before acting on it.

We will never reveal anything for an invalid or guessed code. A wrong code looks exactly like a code that was never issued — there is nothing to learn by guessing.
